Barden Park

Be sure to visit beautifully-restored Barden Park in the Southside University Neighborhood. Barden Park is located on 5th Avenue South between 7th and 8th Streets, adjacent to the university campus.

Barden Park, originally named Central Park, is St. Cloud’s oldest and most historic park. It was established in 1855, one year prior to the incorporation of the City of St. Cloud in 1856. It is, therefore, older than the City of St. Cloud and celebrated its sesquicentennial in 2005!
